Simon Blau: exhibition – Painting 2012

Simon Blau’s new exhibition at Gallery 9 encompasses the latest of his ongoing investigations into the nature of painting, abstraction and the art object. The exhibition, titled Painting, looks specifically at what happens to a painting when a section of it is removed and what those implications are.

Simon Blau lives and works in Sydney. He has been exhibiting since the 1980s and his work is in numerous private and public collections.
