Michelle Hanlin lives and works in Sydney and has been exhibiting since 1999. She was a finalist in the Helen Lempriere travelling scholarship in 2004 and was recently included in the IKEA home project. She has exhibited in group shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Hobart. Hanlin has had three solo exhibitions at Gallery 9 and her work is in the collection of Artbank, Wollongong City Gallery and the MCA, Sydney, as well as numerous private collections.
In 2010 Michelle has exhibited in group shows at CAST, Hobart, Verge Gallery, Sydney, Wollongong City Gallery and Gallery 9′s inaugural stand at the prestigious Melbourne Art Fair. She is also a finalist in the RBS Emerging Artist Award.
